no action on clicking of logoff button in SAP Portal 7.4
Hi All,
When I click on logoff link in SAP Portal, it opens a popup with yes or no. On click of Yes, no action is triggered. popup remains same.
If I click no button, popup is disappearing. It is happening only if I user proxy portal url.
IF I am using direct portal url , logoff functionality is working fine.
Can you please suggest some inputs or advice for this strange behavior. Thank you.

MSS WDA -Issue with UWL for multiple client
Hi Experts,
I am done mapping for two clients on one enterprise portal and for UWL, I am using standard workflow and task for 100 however created Z task and Z workflow for client 200.
In SWFVISU, I mapped Z task with all details and system alias of 200 as SAP_ECC_HumanResources_200.
Registered , UWL connector and created XML for both the clients.
Now, If I am creating leave request in client 200, it is routing to correct manager of client 200 and tasks are visible however below error is coming.
And manager is not able to approve the leave request.
Please advice.

SSO Between SAP PORTAL & NWBC URL (/sap/bc/srm) failed second time open
Hi Expert,
We have a scenario that we are trying to connect NWBC URL iview from SAP portal 7.4 , on this , we configured logical system in protocol -http and application dedication system within portal & created Destination against SAP R3 . pinged both are successfully .
Issue is while oppening NWBC URL Iview from Portal is redirected successful with sso (without ask credential of sap Nwbc system) , user doing their job and Log out from NWBC system (which one opened from Portal earlier ) its successfully logout SAP NWBC system ..0nce again User wants to open and click on NWBC url Iview from portal (already logged ).. SSo not established between SAP portal & SAP NWBC system thereafter,its ask credential to log into SAP NWBC system though already user already logged into portal already .
Why Sso failed second time between SAP portal & NWBC Portal. if logout NWBC Portal .

Hi Sudhir Jati, we see this behaviour in our landscpae too. I did some research on this quite a while ago.
The portal issues a MYSAPSSO2 cookie. On logout NWBC tries to overwrite this cookie and fails. The cookie is not overwritten but a second one is created. From this point MYSAPSSO2-Cookie based SSO is broken.
But if NWBC logoff were successful in overwriting the cookie the portal's SSO session would be broken too.
This is a typical SSO problem and should be cured by either defining one single global logout service or by disabling logoff functionality from all integrated applications. Both are no easy tasks.
So we did not care and told everybody who complained not to logoff from nwbc and until today we survived...

Dear All,
after our SAP CRM upgrade we are facing rendering issues with Interactive Reporting.
The problem is a browser compatibility issue. By running the reporting in IE9 or IE11, the context menu to filter the data is not displayed:
I have checked many notes talking about BEx application issues with IE rendering.
I have set different parameters as suggested in many SAP Notes:
- Application Parameters sap-ie=EmulateIE8 in the iView properties in the Portal
- BrowserDocumentMode = EmulateIE7
- Set the parameter in its service
But the issue is always there; I remarked that the URL of portal is always followed by language parameter and &sap-ie=Edge and I think that the problem is related to sap-ie parameter, but I'm not able to fix that in the URL. Could you please help me?

It looks SSO issue to me and somehow when I deleted cache and re-login by manager's id and was able to approve the leave items.
However I have some doubt as this may come up as an intermittent issue to user -
Please Can I request to have your invaluable inputs on the step to step UWL config where in two clients are same portal - I would like to cross check if I have followed the same steps.

Please verify that popup blocker is not active and review the following blog
regarding session termination issues:
Troubleshooting Backend Session Termination Issues in SAP Enterprise Portal
Check the proxy settings and verify the portal can launch session termination requests
as the direct portal does, you can see the requests using e.g a sniffer.

It is not sso issue. It is very common issue, this happen due to insufficient role to user. Please click on Detail button next to error, it will open a pop-up and it will clearly show which system it fails to connect to. Assign the system specific role to user. Error will be vanished.

"Peer certificate rejected by ChainVerifier" that mean ChainVerifier has not accepted certificate of JAVA system. Either certificate is corrupted or generated wrong. Re-generated certificate and exchange it again.
